Informationen auf Deutsch: Around the 100th anniversary of the Morgan Motor Company, the idea arose to go back to the roots of the brand, being 3 Wheelers. This resulted in the introduction of the new Morgan 3 Wheeler in 2011, deliveries of which began at the end of that year. The appearance refers to the Sport variants from the twenties and so a V-Twin motorcycle engine was used again, which was openly mounted at the front. This time, however, a large block was chosen, because the 3 Wheeler was equipped with a two-liter engine from S&S, known from the Harley and custom bike world. Behind this, a manual gearbox from the Mazda MX-5 was mounted, which shifts wonderfully directly and smoothly. Partly due to the low weight, the performance is excellent and the open character of the Morgan makes the speed experience many times greater. There are hardly any alternatives that offer as much driving pleasure as the Morgan 3 Wheeler does, certainly at legal speeds.
This particular Morgan was delivered new in the Netherlands at the time and has had only two owners since then, who always had the maintenance carried out by us. The Morgan was ordered in a special Aston Martin colour, called Quantom Silver. This deep grey colour looks fantastic on the Morgan, especially in combination with the Tan leather interior. The so-called 'Bright Pack' was chosen, which included the polished roll bars and nose. The leather MotoLita steering wheel and the 'two ear' wheel nuts provided the finishing touch.
In recent years, many parts have been replaced preventively, which means that this 3 Wheeler is in excellent condition. Various adjustments have also been made along the way and accessories have been fitted, such as the high windscreen, LED headlights and front tyres with orange sides. All in all, a very nice Morgan 3 Wheeler with low mileage. Of course, it will be maintained and checked by one of our experienced Morgan mechanics before delivery.
